Ever since the fall of the Berlin wall, my parents' dream was to go to Russia. So one day, when they received an invitation to go to Novosibirsk, we packed all our belongings, drove to Berlin, then took the train to Warsaw. We ended up spending Christmas there, while waiting for our visas to come through. So my brother, sister and I decided to act out the Christmas story for my parents, on Christmas Eve. Mom cooked chicken and mashed potatoes, and we did the entertainment! Peter played the angels, the innkeeper, the donkey and I forgot what else. Stephy was Joseph. And guess who played "Mary"?
