May 2011: Tenon, relapse, missed Lyon, concours EEGP

Mom set an appointment for me to see a Tropical disease specialist at hôpital Tenon. Sure enough, the day of the appointment, my fevers started again--another relapse. After a series of lab tests, that confirmed it was not malaria, and sent me home sick. They don't have a clue what it is. And they don't care. Mom is taking me to other doctors and do more tests.
I'm so sick I have no strength to even do research from my bed to prepare my next concours (Beaux Arts de Lyon). I'm forced to cancel.
Next is EEGP. Thank God I was able to get my portfolio together before I got sick. I passed this first step and need to do the assignment now in one week: Book cover for "Sur la route" de Jack Kerouac. Mom found me the book, so at least I can read that in bed. But no strength to even sketch anything. I'm not gonna make the deadline. I need to mail my project, then actually go to Angers for an interview. I phoned them to explain I was sick and they rescheduled me. Phew!
Here's the portfolio I had sent them earlier:
